KINNARPS Kinnarps, the third largest office furniture manufacturer in Europe, was founded in Sweden 1942. Over the years the company has grown into a pan-European multinational, located in over 35 countries.. Within this time, Kinnarps has flourished into a strong and successful business with a reputation for quality, value and service. This has been achieved through a number of important factors - the ability to maintain very competitive prices, tight delivery schedules, outstanding expertise in office design, and an absolute commitment to customer service and to people. The Eton system has helped us to structure our manufacturing process to match the requirements that go with a demand driven business concept. A major criteria is to be able to manufacture and sort our products in the required delivery sequence. We need to load the delivery trucks so it matches the delivery route - deliver the right products at the right time. On an individual operator level there has also been improvement. Today every workstation and task is organized in a much better way, taking ergonomics into account. The Eton system's positive impact on cost reduction is a reason why we have been able to maintain our production in Sweden. Eton Systems develop cutting edge technology for material handling that serves our needs and therefore we have invested in additional Eton systems through several growth phases. As the system hardware is totally flexible Eton has been able to accommodate existing equipment to meet new needs. One word can be used to express the relationship between Kinnarps and Eton Systems AB, - “excellent”.
