 MOHAWK INDUSTRIESMohawk Industries is a leading producer of rugs, carpets, and a vast array of home textile products. Having used the Eton system for bedspread production gave them the idea of using Eton to take on some challenges in their area rug finishing operations. "We identified an opportunity to increase production through improved utilization of our existing equipment. When we approached Eton on the idea of using their system to produce rugs, Eton was receptive to adapting their system to handle the heavier products." Working closely together, Eton delivered a solution that allowed Mohawk to dramatically lower processing costs through improved productivity and reduced direct labor. "We now have added flexibility in our manufacturing process and total control via the Eton information system to track production.
